California Alcoholic Beverage Control requires businesses to obtain licenses for the sale or consumption of alcohol on a premises. There are various licenses issued by cities for the sale and consumption of alcohol at a premises. (such as restaurants and bars). Assembly Bills 1322 allows barber shops and beauty salons to give out free alcoholic beverages, without a license, when engaging their services. The Bill passed the house and in now in the Senate. Would you go to a barber that gives out free beer or wine before he cuts your hair? We shall see if this Bill spurs shorter hair trends in the future.
